The highly capable GC600 parallel genset controller is extremely wellfeatured for parallel applications, it includes a large PLC to ensurecustomers´ onsite application requirements can be fully met. A largefull colour display makes these controllers suitable for a wide range ofapplications while presenting operating status in a clear easy to viewformat. The GC600Mains version has all the features of the GC600 withan additional dedicated mains breaker control pushbutton.The GC600 is suitable for parallel applications including mutliple parallelgensets, single set parallel to mains and multiple sets parallel to mains.Where multiple mains parallel is part of the application the MC200controller can also be used.Both GC600 versions have a large PLC with a wide range of built infuctions including PID blocks. Customised application logic is available,avoiding the use of external PLC.Based on the load demand, the controller is able to automatically start/stop the genset. A smart load management is available, in case of apower system composed by gensets of different nominal powers, it ispossible to automatically select the most appropriate gensets able tosupply the load, avoiding any waste of fuel and power.Automatic running hours equalization is also available.The GC600 and GC600Mains have a TFT 4.3’’ high-quality coloureddisplay, for a clear visualization of the genset measurement andoperating status.Comprehensive communications are also available as standard,including USB, RS232, RS485 (insulated) and Ethernet for remotemonitoring. The adjustable parameters of the controller allow its use forstandard and much more demanding specialized applications.All the parameters can be set directly by the controller’s keyboard or,alternatively using the free software tool (BoardPRG4).The GC600 and GC600Mains also feature a large memory for thestorage of events and periodical data. The stored information can beviewed from the front panel display.The GC600 and GC600Mains include a hardware watchdog able toadvise the user in case of the internal microcontroller failure. Thisfeature making the controller an excellent choice for critical powerprojects.
